are looking into suspicious death in north baltimore. investigators say they found the body of a man inside a car around 7: 15 this morning. we're told he had been shot. authorities are waiting on autopsy results to determine the exact cause of death. baltimore county police detectives are in oklahoma waiting to interview the grandson of the elderly couple found murdered. he is now named as a suspect. investigators say they learned earlier this week matthew long was in oklahoma. he was living with his grandparents when they were killed. he was missing when police discovered the bodies on monday. according to police, he is undergoing mental treatment at a hospital in oklahoma. >> we entered him into the national missing persons database. he was located in oklahoma. they notified the baltimore police department. our detectives began making preparations to interview him. >> police described the couple's injuries as traumatic but are not saying exactly how they died. the search continues for a suspect after a stabbing at a light rail station. the suspect attempted to take the victims cell phone

, wbal-tv 11 news. >> and we're learning more tonight about the baltimore county man suspected of murdering his grandparents in the pipe mill home where they lived. it came out that he was found by authorities in oklahoma last week where he was being treated in the hospital. detectives in oklahoma are alleging that long was found unresponsive in at a motel room on tuesday morning, have been taken prescription pills. he shared a home with his grandparents and is now considered a suspect in their killing. >> the fbi has launched an investigation into several vandalism cases that appear to be targeting mosques in virginia. worshipers in harrisburg arrived at their weekly prayer service to find graffiti on the building, apparently including references to iraqis and "this is america." there is no indication whether this is in response to angry anti-u.s. protests in the muslim world. meanwhile, those protests seem to be escalating, spreading to more than a dozen countries in the middle east, including afghanistan. this has forces suffer more losses as the result of inciting attacks.

. >> in southwest baltimore, a shooting has left one man in critical condition this morning. police were called to the 500 block of coventry road around 12:15 saturday afternoon where officers found the victim with several gunshot wounds. there's no word on a motive. in north baltimore, police are looking into a suspicious death. the body of a man was found inside the car in the 4000 block of buena vista avenue. we are told he'd be shot. >> baltimore county police detectives are in oklahoma waiting to interview the grandson of the elderly couple found murdered in pikesville. he is now named as a suspect in the case. investigators learned last week that 31-year-old matthew long was in oklahoma. long was living with his grandparents, vaughn and pepper, when they were killed, but he was missing when police discovered the couple's bodies on monday. according to police, long is undergoing mental treatment at a hospital in oklahoma. >> we entered mr. long into the international missing person's database. when he was located in oklahoma on september 11, they notified the baltimore county police depart

of special memorials around the country including here in baltimore and inner harbor wherewe find linda so this morning. linda you going to tell us about a memorial. people are not familiar with this because it's sun dial and it happens once a year. >> reporter: yeah and it sits in front of the world trade center in downtown baltimore. and in just about 40 minutes,something special will happen here. when the sun comes up this morning, the building will actually cast a shadow that will move across the memorial and hitinscriptions that tell us what happened on september 11th. of course, 11 years ago today. the memorial honor the 69 marylanders who died on 9/11. this is one of the steel columns from the world trade center when it collapsed. there's also an exhibit at the top of the building that list the names and pictures of all the marylanders who died. so starting at 6:44 this morning, when the sun comes up, a shadow will move across the memorial and highlight the specific times when the planes crashed into the world trade center at the pentagon and inshanksville. this happens once a year
